Improved Rowing Analysis Engine
On-water analysis was rebuilt end to end, and every score now comes with the evidence behind it.
- New
The whole boat from one clip
Set how many rowers are in the boat and every seat gets its own full analysis from a single on-water video, graded exactly as a solo session would be. All of them are drawn on the same footage, and tapping a rower switches to them.
- New
Crew timing that says what to fix
The boat view tells apart a seat that sits steadily behind the stroke — usually rigging or length — from one whose timing moves stroke to stroke, which is what actually costs boat run. They used to be a single number that meant neither.
- Fixed
On-water strokes are measured properly
Three compounding bugs made every on-water clip read flat. Body angles were being skewed by the video's own aspect ratio, and the catch was detected from the wrong joint. All three are fixed, so a 25° lean now reads as 25°.
- Improved
Scores stopped jumping around
The same piece of footage used to score 24 points apart between runs. Grading now uses continuous partial credit and a style-invariant baseline, and that spread is down to 3.
- New
A capture-quality check before you trust a score
If the camera was too far, too shaky, or lost your legs behind the rigger, the analysis says so up front instead of quietly grading a bad clip.
- New
Every number is explained
A new scoring guide lays out exactly what each metric measures and how it is weighted, and an "i" sits beside each score in the app.
